National Safety Week

"It is the path shower for people; it gives us a feeling of being accepted while teaching us about the specifics of security measures and groom caution."

-V. Mohanarangam, Head, Senior Business Development

The National Safety Council of India runs the National Safety Week campaign every year from the 4th to the 10th of March across the country intending to raise understanding of security measures such as road safety, workplace safety, individual safety, and environmental safety. The extraordinary splendor and knowledge that accompany its celebrations are essential. The history of this event dates back to 1996, the year the National Safety Council was founded. (NSC). On March 4, 1966, the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Government of India formed the National Safety Council as a non-profit, self-financing organization.

Every year on March 4, the National Safety Council (NSC) honors National Safety Day by recalling the organization's beginnings and fundamental values. Having fared all the seas of Safety, we chose to mark the week's festivities at our headquarters in Villivakkam, and in other branches in Madurai and Coimbatore too. As a symbol of respect, the inaugural ceremony began with the national safety week flag-hoisting ceremony. The theme for this year is "Our Goal - Zero Harm." The subject underlines the importance of safeguarding civilization in its entirety. The event's purpose is to inflict as little damage as possible. During this campaign, we headed to every department, elevating slogans and illustrating the potential causes of explosions in each area and the preventions to be taken.

The celebrations continued with a display of safety products in our vicinity to promote understanding and allow people to experience while discovering our deliverables. The product expo is the week’s centerpiece as we acquire information about the products and dimensions, which teaches safety standards and expands our knowledge. With banners displayed prominently, it was an entire week brimming with the advancement of education, awareness, festivities, and, most importantly, a sense of connection. Being in the safety profession does not come with any sinister evil or disaster as we labor relentlessly to prevent those, and safety week is a recognition of its significance. Reiterating that workplace safety isn't something to be underestimated is essential to its purpose.

We had the honor of commemorating National Safety Week events and patronizing its objective and value. It was more significant for our peers to have participated in an event emphasizing the event's magnanimity. It is a yearly phenomenon that occurs between the 4th and 10th of March. Workplace safety is frequently disregarded, and this serves as a stark reminder for individuals all across the world to pay heed to their own safety and acknowledge its relevance.
